Tip: Respirators vs. Dust Masks from Tested.com – Stay Safe in Your Maker Space

Here is an informative video from Frank and Norm over at Tested.com.

Remember, dust masks only protect you against participants like dust from wood sanding and plaster mixing. If you are using spray paints, glues or resins, you need a respirator to filter out the VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) that can affect your health over the long term.

As Frank says several times in the video, “Safety Never Takes A Vacation” in his shop and it shouldn’t in your makerspace, either.

Be safe and stay safe, always!
